Rotating Electrical Machines are manufactured in a modern
plant in Coimbatore with over 75000sq. feet of built-up area.
The product ranges manufactured include AC motors, DC Motors
and Generators, AC Generators and Point Machines.
The plant has the state-
of- the- art conveyorised assembly and painting lines. No
load testing of motors are carried out on computerized routine
test setup which takes care of all requirements of Indian
standards. Load tests on machines are carried out on suitably
sized dynamometers.
All products undergo
stringent quality tests at incoming, in process and final
stages and bear ELGI hologram stickers as a mark of genuineness.
